My first shiba entered my life in 1995. His name was Tomo and everyone who met him said he had an “old soul”. He was joined several years later by Ryoko and then our first rescue Shiba, Yagi. One of our highlights together was a cross country trip from Los Angeles to Virginia in a Mini Cooper. We all survived but agreed that 3 dogs, two humans and all their luggage was a little too much for one small car. I now share my life with Miko, Toshi and Tazzie (the anti-Shiba) and we all enjoy participating in a variety of dog sports.
